Cheng Hoon Teng Temple

This Chinese temple is the biggest in Malaysia and oldest outside China. It was built in 1646 AD. It presents one of the best examples of the Chinese architecture in Malaysia. Roof edges are decorated with Chinese mythological and animal figures made from stained glass and ceramics. It also contains memorial of Admiral Zhen He of Ming Dynasty. This temple is mentioned in the UNESCO's heritage list. This wonderful temple is considered as a 'must see' for travelers to Malacca
