The Stadthuys

The Stadthuys, built in 1650 has eye catching laterite-red color. It is one of the finest examples of Dutch architecture in Malacca. It now houses Malacca's museum of history and ethnography. During Dutch and British times it acted as residence of governors, officials and the administrative heads.
